Why I'm Running for Circuit Court Judge
I am running for First Circuit Court in Davidson County because I am poised for public service and ready to give back to my community. After 35 years of law practice, I know that my many years in litigation in the private sector has been an apprenticeship for this position. I started my career in The Fifth Circuit Court as a law clerk for Judge Walter C Kurtz. From there I was hired at Ortale Kelley and have practiced for 35 years. I practice primarily in the Davidson County Circuit Courts. I will put my unique experience to work for my community and strive to promote public confidence in our judicial system, serving fairly and impartially.
I am not a politician. I am an experienced lawyer qualified for this position and I hope to earn your support in this campaign. Join us on this journey and let’s make our judiciary more diverse by electing a woman for this position.
As your next First Circuit Court Judge, I promise to work hard to resolve cases fairly and impartially and to ensure the public’s trust in a fair judiciary. I will ensure that all litigants, whether with counsel or not, have equal access to the system. The decision to run was easy. After 35 years in private practice, I am ready to give back to my community and serve with the same tenacity and hard work that I have committed to my private law practice.
So, please join us as we kick off this incredible journey!
I look forward to introducing myself to you and I hope to earn your support throughout this campaign.
